We regret to inform you that 1 residents tested positive for COVID-19 on 7/31/2024. As soon as we became aware of this, we immediately activated our response protocols in accordance with CDC guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone at our facility.

Here are the steps we are taking to address the situation:

  1. Isolation and Care: The affected staff member is currently in isolation and is receiving appropriate medical care. We are monitoring their health closely and offering any support they may require during this time.
  2. Contact Tracing: Our facility has conducted a thorough contact tracing process to identify individuals who may have come into close contact with the infected staff member. Those identified will be notified, and appropriate actions will be taken as per CDC recommendations.
  3. Testing and Monitoring: We are implementing regular COVID-19 testing for all staff and residents to promptly detect any further cases. Enhanced monitoring of symptoms will be in place to ensure early intervention if needed.
  4. Staff Education: We are reinforcing education and training for our staff regarding infection control practices, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and the importance of following all safety protocols diligently.
  5. Enhanced Cleaning and Sanitization: Our already stringent cleaning and sanitization protocols have been intensified, with a particular focus on high-touch surfaces and communal areas.
